Learn how Invoees handles your invoice history, contact details, and system cookies. Effective date: June 7, 2026.
Invoees operates primarily as a local-first application. Unlike traditional SaaS applications, we do not maintain central cloud databases that hold your invoice ledger, currency calculations, company address data, client contacts, or digital signature canvas drawings. All transactional billing records are stored strictly in your browser's local sandbox (localStorage).
Our payment portal simulations (the secure checkout checkout panel) are strictly mock demonstrations. No actual credit card, banking, or routing numbers are captured, compiled, or transmitted across network ports. We do not connect to live banking APIs. To test the billing process, use fake inputs as prompted by the simulated checkout system.
We utilize browser localStorage technologies to preserve the following parameters between sessions:
invoees_theme: Remembers light or dark theme choices.invoees_settings: Retains company details, banking parameters, and billing configuration profiles.invoees_clients: Holds the client registry data array.invoees_invoices: Stores your complete historical invoices dataset. You retain 100% custody of your data. You may download a complete backup configuration file at any time via the Settings menu or purge the local database, which erases all local data records permanently. Once purged, data cannot be recovered on our end since no server backups exist.
We reserve the right to modify this disclosure agreement. In the event we introduce remote cloud sync, users will be prompted to explicitly register and authorize cloud database sync protocols beforehand.
